A Very Disappointing Stay.
This property is in a rundown area and first impressions weren’t good. It is safe to say the inside is better than the outside, however management were very disorganised. Despite phoning 3 times in advance and 4 emails the previous week, we had to wait outside for over an hour before anyone finally arrived. Even then she did not have a set of keys for us and had to come back later. This was not the end of the bad management as the next day, we were hassled by phone calls and texts asking for payment which we had prepaid to Hotels.Com. The kitchen was filthy with unwashed pots in the cupboard with food still inside. The tables had food smears all over. The washing machine and dryer had not been cleaned in a long while. We spent time cleaning but decided it was not safe cooking in such a dirty environment. As this was the only reason we rented an apartment it was very disappointing. Also the apartment is up two flights of very steep stairs so it was impossible to bring suitcases up.
