We stayed for 2 nights on our Christmas market tour and Pals was such a great location and such a spacious apartment. We were right next to St. Stephens Basilica. There was some noise from the market and church bells but were done by 10p. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

The front desk staff!
By far, Levi and Henry made my stay here terrific. They each did their best to accommodate requests and to help out with information I needed. You could tell they care, and it makes all the difference for a great stay. Jennifer was great to check into the hostel with and eager to be helpful too. All in all, I would recommend staying with these folks for the location, the rooms, and especially the great staff. Thanks guys!

Worth staying at!
Each stay here is as good, if not better than the ones before. The perfect amount of helpfulness and leave you alone vibe. The front desk can organize pub crawls and city tours, massages in your room, and breakfast vouchers for a nearby cafe...all at a reasonable rate. Can't beat the location!

Pals is wonderfully located within walking distance of loads of popular tourist sights as well as the final stop on the bus from the airport. Check in is very easy and apartments are close to the main hostel. Loved that each apartment had a bathroom and kitchen. Very clean and spacious!

The staff of Pal's Hostel and Apartments are absolutely outstanding. They make the effort, and take the time to ensure a wonderful stay for each one of their guests. Any need or question we had was appropriately, and promptly met. The property is clean, and provides complimentary coffee and tea, and the tap water is some of the best in all of Europe. Additionally, it is close to public transportation, and several attractions within walking distance. We would gladly stay there again, should we have the opportunity.

Pal's hostel is very well located, truly an amazing location right on the Bazilika. The apartments are in great condition and spacious, although the building itself is a bit older. It is much more independent than a community hostel but still a great experience if that is what you are looking for

Fantastic location (that's about it!)
Entrance: The entrance was lined with dustbins on one side. Room: The room was located opposite side of the square. Clean, modern. The toilet was unbelievably tiny. Hit my head on the funnily placed water tank in the bath tub. Wifi: Terrible. Wanted to get some work done but just did not work. Next morning, tried to tell the person at reception but he did not bother even looking up from his computer and told us to come later as he could not do anything about it. Location: Fantastic. Lots of bars, pubs, restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the river and the other side of town.
