Lovely room and bathroom- both looked like they were brand new. Good quality furniture and original decor style. Communal patio outside room had outdoor seating area for relaxing. Lovely views from building. Spacious central lounge area for meeting friends. Fridge and coffeemaker inside room.

Swiss chalet
We were the first customers of the year so they left us a bottle of champagne! What a nice touch. We loved the feel of the 2 bear cabin and the Swiss Chalet design. It had everything that we needed for cooking. We would definitely stay again.

Good place to stay if Going to d sub road was open
It’s a wonderful place if you are into water sports and also if the Going to the sun road was closed.

$230/night and terrible management.
A friend and I stayed for 2 nights in late August. We give it one star for it's great location close to the Glacier National Park entrance, and the attractive grounds and comfortable rooms. But the $230/night room rate is too high considering no TV or phone in our room, no complimentary breakfast, limited hours coverage for snack and beverage service, and limited hours front desk coverage. So no stars for value for money. Regarding customer service, our experience with resort management was appalling. The day after our first night's stay, housekeeping did not clean our room, despite no request from us to decline service. We had no clean dry bath towels, paper coffee cups or plastic water cups. We reported this to Reception on checkout, feeling entitled to consideration for a partial refund. No manager on duty. The eventual managerial response was late and dismissive, the subsequent response to my follow-up declined any further consideration of a refund, disputed the facts of my complaint, and said I was rude to all the staff on all the occasions the complaint was discussed. Totally incorrect, unprofessional and offensive. Kudos to Hotels.com for offering a credit coupon as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience, which I declined. If you don't expect your choice of lodging to accept any responsibility for the service and satisfaction provided during your stay, then you won't be disappointed by the Great Northern. Otherwise, I suggest you might want to look elsewhere.

Great Northern Stay
Great Northern Lodge was beautiful! Brand new and in perfect condition. The bed was a little hard for me. There was no TV in the room which wasn't a problem for us but still surprising. I would stay here again if I had a softer bed.
