Great stay
I'm a budget traveler that penciled in this hotel on a photography trip to Prague in late September. This hotel is within striking distance of lots of tourist attractions in Prague such as Old Town and the Charles and Bridge. That in itself makes it worth its weight in gold. The area surrounding Old Prague Hotel is fairly quiet and made for a peaceful night's sleep. Wifi reliable. I opted for a standard twin room which was very reasonably priced. The interior was quaint and charming and the room itself was very comfortable. You are given a key with a large wooden keychain you must leave with a member of reception as you leave. I could hear others in my building struggle with it as well. The staff was very friendly also. There was a very pretty girl with brown hair (forgot her name) who was very warm and engaging with guests. They were knowledgeable about the area and got me a 2nd pillow for my room within minutes. AC is provided for a small fee in certain rooms but it was crisp and cool outside so all I had to do was crack a window. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. That's all I really need. The body wash and soap was helpful as well. Breakfast was provided for free and it was very decent. A selection of juices, eggs, breakfast meats, cold cuts like ham, salami, cheeses, breads, and juices. Coffee and tea were available as well. Come early or risk not having a spot to sit. A very good spot to stay in Old Town. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Hotel, closes ti the center
I have spent 3 nights in old prague hotel. I booked an economy single room. Unfortunately, when i booked i didn't know that economy shall have meant: no air conditioning. It could even be ok, but i just want recommend people to pay attention to it. The economy room is located in a small building out of the main building, First floor; the bed is Just under the window so it's difficult to open all the Windows while you are lying in the bed, and evrybodies from the main building, Who are waiting for the elevator Can take a look inside of the room if the courtains are non closed. It has to bè noted that the room is provided with a fan. Personally i don't think is the same thing, but i really can't blame the hotel and its staff. They are very kind and professional; It was my mistake to book and economy room and don't pay much attention about What "economy would have meant". So, just be conscious of what you are booking. I Guess "economy" also means no daily cleaning, or at least not full; after the first night they just made the bed, and the day After they cleaned the sink of the bathroom. Economy also means no changing of towels. I just tell this stuff to make people aware (especially Italians) about this, and don't make my same mistake. Of course, the economy room is much cheaper of a standard One! About the breakfast It was good; they make It in real time. I have been Just shocked ab the missing of coffee. The only available coffee is istant-coffee. I would have expected more

Great location but room leaves a lot to be desired
A friend and I reserved 2 separate rooms at the Old Prague Inn for 3 nights this week. His room was great, good view, good television channels, decent temperature. I checked into my room on the ground floor and it was nothing like my friends room. located in the very back of the ground floor facing an ally way. Room number 01 was over 100 degrees the last 3 days, it was impossible to turn the heater down that was literally 6 inches from the bed. I opened the window but there was no buffer to the public and cigarette smoke outside. The shower was also broken. the mount was not attached to the wall and you had to hold the shower head the whole time. Also the television selection in my room was different than the pleasant channels in my friends room on the 3rd floor. I had nothing but Arab networks. I was pretty disappointed in my room. If I had my friends room that he received on the 3rd floor I would have had no complaints. Room 01 on the ground floor was literally a dungeon. I wish I could attach photos to describe my experience. The only thing I enjoyed about this hotel was the location and free breakfast.

Poor 2.0
a Nightmare.
This was the worst hotel experience I have had in a very long time. I was in room 1, which may have been the problem. The matress on the bed was so thin that you could feel the bed slats through it. The radiator ran alongside the mattress and was so hot you couldn't sleep. The maids room was nearby, and we were awoken each morning around 5 a.m. by women arguing very loudly in Czech. The room was also so small, that when we considered sleeping on the floor instead of those horrible beds, we realized there wasn't enough room to do even that. We were in 6 countries on this trip, and researched each hotel carefully prior. What a disappointment, as well as 2 nights with no sleep.

Poor 2.0
You misdescribed this hotel by saying that it had a lift. It does but the lift does not go to any of the floors, there are 16 stairs to manage. You should say that the hotel is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Our holiday was ruined due to the lack of level access to our room. On ypthree nights I was in so much pain that I couldn’t go out for dinner. The hotel should never have accepted our booking as I specified that I needed level acces. A disaster. As I result of these stairs I am still in extreme pain five days after our return.
