Merry Riverside Hotel, Luang Prabang

Outstanding hotel. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel on the bank of the Nam Khan River. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. My room on the second floor had a view of the river and mountains. Good size room with comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Excellent wifi and television reception. The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good with a good choice of foods and drink served on an outside covered area on the riverbank with good views. The hotel was in walkable distance of the Mekong River, all the morning, day, and night markets, the National Museum, and many wats. Good selection of restaurants in the area as well as travel/ticket agencies. I definitely would stay at this hotel again.

A rustic gem tucked along one of the little lanes leading to the river. Clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and were always available to help with a genuine smile.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff we all so lovely and friendly and the room was immaculate. The bed was comfy and the manager gave us an upgrade to the ki. Room as it was available. Wonderful spot on the river with excellent breakfast provided.

No complaints at all. Friendly helpful staff in a well run facility. Room overlooking the river was better than expectations. Breakfast was fine not the best coffee but it’s kind of expected ( about the only thing they could improve ) ... pretty much a faultless choice. Slightly out of the main area but a pleasant 15 min walk to the heart of it all.
