It felt like we were back in a freshman dorm.
The unit gave us the feeling they would really rather you didn't stay there. There were labels everywhere, do this, don't do that. Communication from Mt. Baker Lodging was full all caps type and exclamation points which seemed like they were yelling at us. Not very welcoming. The curtain over the sliding glass door was very thin. I'm sure anyone could have looked in. That wouldn't be such a problem, but the place is so small there was no place to dress without feeling like you were on display. No TV, no cell service, so we had no way to check the weather. That was important when we were trying to decide whether to go drive to the top of the mountain. The unit is also obviously older and in need of a remodel. The cost for this unit had us expecting something much better. We wouldn't stay here again and we would not recommend this place to anyone else.

The room was pretty small, but big enough for me alone. For two it would be pretty crowded. I had a nice view of a cedar forest from my balcony. The WiFi worked fine, which was great since there was no Verizon service at all. It was nice having washers and driers and they didn't even charge extra for them. I brought laundry detergent, but there was a big bottle of detergent already there. The kitchenette had sufficient pots, plans, plates, silverware, etc. for cooking. I'd come back here again.
