Perfect Location and gracious host
Perfect Location- only minutes away from the beaches but still able to enjoy  tranquility  and relax  amidst the hustle-bustle of the coast area. A gracious host who attended all your needs.  Will definitely recommend the place.

Lovely relaxing villa with friendly staff!
We loved staying here! The staff went out of their way to help us - for example giving us information and walking us to the bus stop. The meals were yummy and cheap. The villa is very relaxing and a short walk from the beach. Thankyou Isuru, Prashan and the other staff - we had such a fun New Years Eve in unawatuna villa !

Utterly charming guesthouse
This is a simple yet delightful guesthouse with very friendly staff. The location is excellent - about 200 yards from the beach at Unawatuna but up a quiet lane so you're not disturbed by late night noise. There is a beautiful tropical garden and you have breakfast on a lovely terrace. There's plenty to see and do in the area as well - Galle and its fort, visits to National Parks, tea plantations and turtle farms, a few nice, short walks locally. The staff are great and will do anything to help you enjoy a stay in their place.

Beautiful and Quiet
The main buidling of the hotel is 150 years old and has a lot of colonial charm. The surrounding garden is beautiful and at night the hotel is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the verandah is one of the most enjoyable moments of the entire journey. Excellent value for money.

We were so happy here!!
Such a lovely villa in unawatuna, in quiet surrounding but just a short walk from the main action. Beautiful garden, where the staff told us they are planning to put some sunbeds in there, which will make it even more amazing to chill there. Cozy terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. Loveliest staff/ family who runs the villa, who made every effort and made us feel so comfortable and welcome!! But actually the best was the home cooked, authentic Sri Lankan food- we wanted to try dinner in the villa once and ended up dining there every evening. One of the best rice+curry we had in Sri Lanka, and we tried many!! Special thanks to Isuru, who did everything to make us happy. We would love to come again.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich schön und man kann die Pension und das Frühtück nur empfehlen! Allerdings ist die bei Hotels.com hinterlegte Adresse falsch. Außerdem gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes kein warmes Wasser und unser Gastgeber, war im Gegensatz zu anderen Rezensionen nicht besonders gesprächig, da er auch nur sehr schlechtes Englisch gesprochen hat. Für Sri Lanka dennoch empfehlenswert!
