Hardly ever any staff in attendance. One of our party had mobility problems, thus the flights of stairs we had to navigate (of which we were not aware) made it an issue. Not to mention carrying luggage up and down. Breakfasts were very marginal. Location was good, but I will never stay there again.

8/10 Very Good

I have stayed before. This time I stayed with my dog. The room was massive, the bed was comfortable, facilities were very nice and clean. It was lovely, staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was great. The only issue was the noise - could here the water running down the pipes and due to new management there isn’t a dinner menu. But there is some wonderful places to eat very close. Overall a really nice place to stay. I would stay again

6/10 Good

Arrived on a late December evening to find the room had not been heated for some days as it had been unoccupied and with the bathroom window left open. The room was freezing so we put the electric radiator on and went for dinner. When we came back it was no better and it took until the next morning for the room to be anywhere near comfortable as it was a big room and a comparitively small heater. I understand with fuel costs you cant waste heat but somebody should have put the heater on prior to our arrival. After our room got warm the rest of the stay was fine - bit noisy outside but thats to be expected with the location and the breakfast was excellent. it was just a shame that things started so badly and it could have been avoided.
