The hotel was like a hostel but with private rooms. The location was awesome. Right next to a big train station with grocery stores in it.

Poor 2.0
False information, unmade beds, bad attitudes
As soon as we entered the room we noticed it was extremely small for the "quadruple room with 2 beds and 2 bunk beds" we paid for; we then realized they assigned us to a tiny triple room with 3 single beds. This could have been fine since we were only a group of 3, but it seems like they were expecting a group of 2 because one of the beds was completely unprepared (missing the bed sheets, blanket, pillows, and towels). The uncovered mattress had a filthy, stained surface which perhaps isn't surprising in a hotel but nevertheless should never be seen by customers. We immediately went to the reception to complain. At the very least we wanted the missing items to be sent to the room, but the receptionist insisted on finding an alternate room. This wasted all of our time as no room could be found after ~30 minutes of searching. So, the missing items were to be sent to the room. When they didn't arrive, we went down to complain again; the receptionist at this point became snappy and insisted the items arrived (a lie, my husband and my son were waiting in the room). The housekeeper pulled out sheets and a pillow from a hidden compartment under the bed, as if we should have known they were there and as if we were supposed to make our own bed (seriously?). In any case, the sheets and pillow were obviously used (my son plucked hairs off of them) so we had to demand freshly cleaned ones. All in all, a frustrating experience made worse by snappy employees arguing with us.
