Best spot in Giza for hospitality and views!
Mohamed and Osman were the nicest people we met in all of Egypt. Took care of our every need and made us feel like family. They can arrange for pick-up and drop-off at the airport, hire a guide for pyramids, pick up food for dinner. The view are truly spectacular. I can not recommend this place highly enough. 10/10

No real problems here
Pretty decent place, offering everything as advertised. Clean and comfortable beds with a nice bathroom. Hot water runs out pretty quickly though. Room was quite cold as the air unit on the wall didn't work. There was a halogen heater instead but this didn't really make a difference. Good breakfast and nice view, and helpful staff. Beware of the pyramid trips organised here though - one of their guides (Mohammed) charged me to enter a part of the complex that was included in the original ticket price to pocket the money himself. I complained and got the money back after finding out the truth from some locals. Just go by yourself.

Fantastic place!
An excellent location with shops and restaurants nearby. The owners were extremely helpful and we were looked after very well. The view of the Pyramids whilst eating breakfast was unreal! We are already missing this place! Thank you Horus Guest House for making us feel welcome.

Amazing place to stay at!
Several aspects to this stay made my time in Giza so unique and special. Being a solo traveller, and my first time in Egypt, I was nervous to be in an area that mostly speaks Arabic, of which I am not well versed. For my first couple of nights in Egypt, I could not have found a more perfect hotel to stay at. Room: My rooftop room opened up to a beautiful view of the Pyramids. This was up about 3-4 flights of stairs. The room was clean, and equipped with tv, toiletries, A/C unit, clean towels, etc. I had a mini fridge in my room (large than the traditional hotel mini fridge which, let’s be honest, doesn’t fit anything) which fit large bottles of water. The only downfall is the wifi connection in my room was poor. This wasn’t an issue for me though, since it encouraged me to visit the rooftop area, which had great wifi. Besides, you don’t want to spend your whole trip on the Internet! Food: Breakfast is included and served on the roof top (a floor up from my room) by Mr. Osmand (sp?), a very sweet man. Breakfast is simple, some local bread and cheese, butter, jam. Coffee/tea is offered, along with juice, yogurt, and some fruit. Bottled water is free at the hotel, which is super nice! Never asked about room service so I’m not sure what that’s like. People: What made my stay absolutely special was my interaction with the people. Muhammad and his father, Mr Osmand, run the hotel, and they are the sweetest and most hospitable and made my stay unforgettable.
