Great budget motel
This budget motel was clean and the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. There are no frills or extra amenities but you get more than you pay for. The neighborhood is not great but it's a short walk to Bart and close to other interesting areas in Oakland and Berkeley. I highly recommend if you're on a budget.

Best value in the area and it isn't even close.
Nice clean room close to Kaiser. Service at the front desk was exceptional. Thanks again for waking up at 1am to check me in. Will be staying again.

The Sweetest Motel
The staff are so accommodating, attentive, and sweet. The second time we stayed, we stayed in one of the remodeled rooms. The bathroom was gorgeous!!! It has a nice central location. We always have a great time.

Definitely recommend!
I was looking for a relatively inexpensive, clean, comfortable motel to spend one night to be near family. My son suggested looking on MacArthur Blvd & after reading reviews I chose Travel Inn. This is a very clean, newly remodeled bathroom, clean comfortable bed, great heater for a chilly night. No frills just a great place to spend the night. It felt safe with a deadbolt on the door. Owners/managers were very pleasant and helpful. It has a clean microwave and small refrigerator. I will stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, walking distance to hospitals
We appreciated staying at this little gem while in town for a medial procedure. The brother/sister management team were very friendly and hospitable and accommodated a much later checkout than most other places would allow, which worked well for us. The room was attractive and clean with working microwave, fridge, good quality TV, high quality mattress on the bed, good shower, and we loved having the light switches and outlets conveniently located above the nightstands (amazing how other places have few or inaccessible outlets in today's mobile device world). A few improvements we'd like to see include providing extra linens in the closet, a shelf or cabinet in the bathroom for toiletries, and to use milder smelling cleaners (we had to run the fan for a few hours before the smell dissipated after checking in). Overall a great little place to stay and we'll be back.
