Good location not-so-helpful staff

Positive- Good location. Pythian market behind hotel has great food options. Complimentary breakfast most days was much better than most hotels. Rouse market is nearby to buy groceries. Negative- It was a hassle to valet park; no valet outside to take keys. Still they charge $40 per night + taxes/fees. There is a self- parking right next door for $20 ( however hotel doesn’t use it for valet parking!) I did valet for a night & then did self-parking rest of the days. They charge me two days for valet parking, but reversed after I questioned and objected. Staff weren’t helpful in providing information or maps to nearby attractions. Looks like all they cared was checkin/checkout. Rooms (suite) were good and appeared clean until we noticed couple of baby cockroaches in the kitchen the night before checkout.
