Pioneer Town for Pappy's
Totally cute. As long as you are cool without a TV, you will love the rustic charm of this place. It is exactly 1 minute to go see amazing and unexpected bands at Pappy and Harriet's across the parking lot.

Soooooo cute! Stay here!
This place is super cute! Wish my stay could have been longer. I thought that this would be a good spot to stay so that I could have an early start in Joshua tree the next morning, which it was, but then wished I didn’t have to leave so soon. The little shops in Pioneertown didn’t open until about 11 so I missed them. However you can still walk around and enjoy it. Plus, the smell in the air is magical. My room was adorable and the front desk was very nice. Oh! And the toiletries smell so good!!! My only frustration would be that it was a little hard to find in the pitch dark. Google maps lead me near it but was a little off so I needed to stop by Pappy and Harriet’s to ask where it was. (FYI- its right behind the restaurant). I would also suggest inquiring about what’s going on at Pappy and Harriet’s if you are planning on eating near the motel. The motel doesn’t have food and Pappy’s is the closest option. There was a totally sold out show the night I was there and they don’t serve takeout so I just went w/o dinner. So just plan ahead. I really loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Lovely motel
My family recently stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic time! We absolutely loved it. The motel is charming, clean and comfortable. Pioneertown is tucked away in a beautiful area. Bonus points for being right next to Pappy and Harriet’s too! My only tiny complaint is that there wasn’t a hair dryer provided. My family and I plan to return soon so next time I’ll be sure to bring one.

Peaceful/Rustic
We had an amazing time. The place is very rustic (which we love)... only down fall... shower to small, the shower head is too high... also, heater comes on and off all the time. The rooms really need ductless heaters. All in all an A+

Rustic but pleasant. We weren't expecting such cold temps in the desert but the heat worked well. Staff was easy-going and we appreciated the hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate available throughout the day. A place to enjoy the stores and natural environment - no TV ... but there was good reliable wi-fi.
