Arte Hotel, Bangkok

The Arte Hotel is an average hotel. I selected it based on it's high rating, however, I would not say it is worthy of such a high rating. Our room was fine. No big complaints except the beds are not incredibly comfortable. I like a firm bed but these were more like a brick. The immediate local area is a bit run-down and a Grab or taxi will have trouble finding the hotel as it is set back off the main road. You will need to meet them on the main road UNLESS the hotel arranges the taxi/car. This is my main complaint. The upcharge on this was ridiculous - more than double - and dishonest. I was told if I ordered my own taxi, he could not go on the main highways and would take twice as long to get to my destination. For the price of breakfast, you are better walking down the street and checking out the street food. DELICIOUS and so much better! If you are in Bangkok to sitesee, I recommend staying closer to Wat Arun or Wat Pho and saving yourself a lot of time in traffic.

Overall was acceptable . Good location . Been staying in this hotel whenever in bkk. But this time feel the hotel has not done properly maintainces. Lots of moudy patches in room . Hope they will take note n maintain it well

We had a wonderful stay at the Arte hotel. The staff that greeted us was nice and was accomodating throughout our stay. The room was modern, snazzy, and spacious. There is a standalone bath tub with a large window that looks past the room and into an amazing view of Bangkok. It truly something to marvel! We ordered room service for food, which was fast, good, and for a fair price. The location is situated near some pretty nice big malls and restaurants. It is near EmQuartier, which is very ritzy and high class. It's not something I explored, but wish I did. I would say the location is ideal to explore Bangkok. The pool offers an incredible 180 degree view of Bangkok. Whether you're swimming or sunbathing, it is something to spend a little time at. There are pool towels you can borrow and food or drinks that can be ordered. The only drawback is that I smelled something off-putting outside of the bathroom. Maybe it was from a dirty mop or the AC unit. While faint, it was noticeable to me, but not my partner. I ignored it, but I smelled it every time. Regardless, our stay at the Arte hotel was wonderful. The room itself was clean and bed was huge. The staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

The rooms are fairly modern and comfortable, well maintained and clean. The price is fair for what you get and where you get it. This place is off the street so it's fairly quite. They seem to advertise to Chinese tourists mostly because that's who you'll be hanging out with at the hotel.

Nice hotel. Quiet and clean room in a busy part of town.
