what you pay is what you get
the hotel itself was pretty straightforward location was great its very close to the mrt aside from that the room was decent the bed is on the firm side and you can go to the lobby to have unlimited juices and bread overall you get what you pay for

Worth the price
We got a great deal from and enjoyed our stay here. It's for quick stop but we got everything we need. The room is a bit small and the bed is comfortable. The location is okay since it's closed to main shopping area in Ximending. Breakfast is pretty good too. For the price we paid, we are very satisfied.

5 Mins Walk from the Closest Station
Great location with easy access to food and shops. Some rooms are certainly better than others as we had 2 separate check-in's during our time in Taipei, but overall quiet comfortable. The free breakfast offered was good as well.

So far so good
The breakfasts are good; one thing is, my bed sheet has dirty marks

2 nights stay at Ximen 101 (aka, ECFA hotel)
*Location - the hotel was easy to find and the area was bustling till late at night. Closest station was Ximen station (blue and green line) and it took about 5-6 minutes to walk. *Breakfast/ wifi - it has both american style breakfast (simple toasts, coffee, peanut butter) but I mostly enjoyed their Taiwanese style breakfast. Wi-fi worked well. *Rooms - nice to just sleep and take showers, etc. Nothing too bad or good. However, keep in mind that the place is located on a BUSY street, it can be noisy on weekend nights. I also could hear the next door visitors talking at night, but it's not hotels fault. (I could hear their door very loud though)
