Good house, privacy issues
Very cool house in good (not great) condition—allows for a unique Kyoto experience. Friendly and helpful reception staff at Kyoto station. The problem is with no respect for privacy from on-site staff. Obnoxious property manager entered house uninvited 3 times in initial 2 days despite fluent English and seeming to understand it was not acceptable. Other cleaning staff entered within 3 seconds of ringing doorbell on several occasions. They really need to sort out on-site customer service issues like this.

This is a two story townhouse that can hold a family, sitting in the middle of residential neighborhood. It is spacious, simple and clean, hallway, one family room, one bath and one full kitchen downstairs, a big bedroom and half bath upstairs. The location is near by Nijojo (15 min walking) with small shops, super market, and small restaurants in walking distance. Recommended to experience a Japanese residential townhouse.

Great Japanese Traditional House
Great to stay in a traditional Japanese house. Good location for the castle and imperials palace.
