Decent B & B
Out of all 7 hotels and B&B I stayed in during the duration of my trip, this is the nicest one in terms of service, friendliness, and accommodation. You can't see the name from the street, but trust your GPS. This particular B&B is next to the Garda (aka police station). There is street parking. FREE after 18:00. It is safe to park your car and walk around town. Stay one night in this town is all you need. The couple who owns this B&B are very nice. Hot breakfast with egg, ham, sausage, and bread is offered. Most of the beds in the entire Ireland whether it is B&B or not are not that comfortable. Either the pillow is too flat or too bulky. The blanket for twin size is not wide enough. So, if you are in a budget, expect to land in NOT so comfortable bed. But, there is at least hot shower. Bring eye cover as daylight in the month of June remains bright till 11pm and sunrise starts at 5AM. As for the sound in the area, this B&B if pretty quiet.

My family was thrilled with our very short (too short) stay at Halpin's Townhouse Bed and Breakfast. We were greeted warmly and shown to our rooms. And because we had to leave quite early for the Dublin Airport, they left a lovely breakfast out for us - coffee, orange juice, melon, cheese, bread, yogurt, boiled eggs. It was perfect, beautifully presented, and incredibly thoughtful. If you are going to Glendalough, this is a perfect launching point. Also, it was a great location for traveling to the airport without having to drive into Dublin. The owners could not have been more gracious, the beds were comfy, and the bathrooms nicely designed. Wish we could have spent more time here.

Lovely stay
The Wicklow Town is beautiful and is easy to access from where we stayed. The host of the B&B is a very friendly gentleman and the breakfast was super!

Convenient location
Short walk from bus stop from Dublin. No lift, but wide stairway. Clean throughout. Helpful hosts, especially with providing lift to catch bus to Wexford. Plentiful cooked to order breakfast. Nearby supermarket. Public house across road with food, plus live music.

Nice play to spend a weekend
Lovely quaint B&B with really nice hosts. It's not the most modern or luxurious but that's exactly what you want and really is part of its charm. The area is lovely, picturesque, good bars, good food and perfect for what we were there for. The owners were so accommodating to us all and really helpful.
