Fantastic place to stay!
Fantastic stay with great location! Would book here again and have shared with friends. The only downside is the use of the pool. It may look empty but only a small percentage of Stay Alfred are allowed in, even when the pool appears empty!

I can swim just not at the 505
This place is very clean and nice. The one thing I have read and now experienced was the awkward and distasteful situation with guest pool use. If you are looking to relax by the pool with a couple of cocktails, it won't happen here. You have to have one of the very limited wristbands given out to get in. Want to leave? You are on the clock before they hijack the wristbands/your chair back. Some of our party checked out and went to The Bobby. Very laid back pool scene there. The 505 is a very nice place. Rooms are great. Clean and modern. I saw several people VERY upset about the pool in my short 3 day trip.

Excellent stay. Everyone and staff very friendly, professional, and helpful. Security and rules are strictly enforced. The pool fills up real quick on weekends for guests, (maybe 50 allowed at a time), no thongs allowed and loud parties are frowned upon. Great location. We would stay there again.

We loved staying there except for one thing. They should advertise that the pool is there for residence of the building & travel people ( renters ) are only allowed to use it if the head count is below a certain number. Was there 3 days never got to use it. We were on a hour wait. What was funny is that the other half of the pool was empty & 3/4 of the lounge chairs were empty. That is left that way if residents decide to use it. Felt like a fool being turned away twice in front of people especially at 11am.

Great but read before booking!
First, this is not really a hotel, you’re renting a nice apartment in a residential building. Pros- great location, beautiful rooms and building, great value. Cons- pool access is reduculously segregated between hotel and residents, 80% of seats etc reserved for residents no matter who is actually at the pool... so you have empty seats you’re not allowed to use because they have zero common sense discretion and have kill joy staff lurking to make sure no rule is broken! Oh and no daily maid, so you’ll be washing your own towels! Would recommend but if the pool is a big deal to you prepare to be frustrated and maybe disappointed. Oh, and don’t take a room on sixth floor... you’ll hear the sound of dumb bells being dropped on floor as the gym is on the 7th floor! Lol
