The location was fantastic. However, the property was not well maintained at all. The floors were disgustingly dirty, there were only two towels for four people upon check in, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall with a used roll barely holding on, and the shower curtain was moldy. It was truly just a place to sleep.

Atlantic Oceanside Dewey is a great place to stay! Location is everything and Dewey is a very walkable town to begin with, but this hotel is at the corner of the beach block, which is awesome! Staff was incredible especially Kirsten, who helped me with extra towels and housekeeping when needed! Property is very clean and maintained well, however, the bed could definitely use an upgrade as it was not very comfortable, and the sheets didn’t really fit the bed so the fitted sheet kept coming off, and there was no mattress pad under that which was a little disappointing. Other than that, our stay was amazing.!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Atlantic Ocean Side Hotel in Dewey Beach for opening weekend! From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, welcoming, and relaxing. The location is absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and all Dewey has to offer! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a stress-free getaway. The staff was so very friendly and accommodating, always ready with a smile and very helpful. We love how laid-back the atmosphere is and being in the heart of Dewey with all the fun things to do. Anytime we come to Dewey we always stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, enjoyable, and perfectly located beach escape!
