More accurate description needed
The stay was good. Hotels.com said there was an airport shuttle but there was no link to contact the hotel. Additionally, once the hotel was contacted (via internet searches for their email), no response.

Good stay
The hostel is located in a good area. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom had hot water. You were given your own key to enter and exit the hostel which I liked and is not always the case with hostels in Madrid.

More than pleasantly surprises.
The room was small but was perfect. we had a private bathroom in our room. the space was immaculate and the woman who runs it ,even though there was a language barrier, was the nicest, kindest person. I was very sick my first day and she was quite concerned. There was coffee in the morning to get started. The area is bustling at night and near the Hop on Hop off buses for daytime fun. You can walk to the Prada Museum and Retiro Park. Also the young man who works at the hostel on the next floor was a great help when the wifi would not connect for me. all my fault. This is a great value in the middle of Madrid.

Clean but a tad noisy
Overall it was a decent stay. Although the street is a bit loud at night, it was tolerable. The main guy I only encountered working there didn’t speak a word of English. So not sure why their place claims to be multicultural. However, we communicated through google translate and it wasn’t too much of an issue. Beds were clean and daily cleaning service was well done. On the down side, the beds were not so great. Pretty hard and springy. And loud at night. Otherwise; located pretty well. Clean. Friendly staff. Short walk to Sol city center. One more negative and a tip to the owners. Don’t move furniture around at 9 in the morning. Or whatever noises those were. Although it was 9am and seems reasonable for people to get up, those that like to sleep longer do not want to be woken up by moving furniture. It happened every morning.
