Great value in a friendly pub.
This is a room in a Pub, which is family friendly and serves a good range of pub food. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant. The pub was refitted a couple of years ago, and the bedroom furniture is of good quality. The en-suite was small and obviously not done at the same time the room was updated, but it was clean and there were plenty of towels. Overall this is great value for a good clean room, no frills, and no breakfast to be had, but Gloucester Road is nearby with as much choice as you could wish. Check out just involves leaving your key on the box and departing. We’d stay again.

HORRIBLE STAY - CRAFTY CROW
HORRIBLE STAY, WAS GIVEN A SMALL ROOM WITHOUT THE ENSUITE, WHICH WAS A SURPRISE AD WHEN I MADE THE RESERVATION, THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED. COLD ROOM , NO HEATING! WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN.

I won't stay there again even if you paid me
Disgusting rooms, toilet with water flowing everywhere. No soap to wash your hands. The Wifi did not work. The TV did not work. The shower was old and dirty. Both bathrooms were run down, paint scaling off the walls. The sinks were dirty and there was not SOAP! I was absolutely grossed out. The carpets were old and stained. The bed were dirty. This place is a disgrace. I would not stay there again even if you paid me.

Comfortable with friendly staff
Good comfortable accommodation - looks recently redecorated. Room was above pub. Noise reduction good but not perfect. Pub had a good atmosphere and a 10% reduction for staying guests. Service friendly with plenty of parking.

Away at Bristol Rovers
Went to the Bristol Rovers v Pompey game; 2-1 to Pompey. 😀. Short walk to the ground and therefore ideal. No breakfast available but I knew this prior to booking. It is a Greene King pub which has food available during pub hours. Room had clearly been refurbished recently.
