Not happy
Arrived on 24th of May, the room was clean but we couldn’t lock the door. We asked the landlord to help because the lock was faulty, after messing with it he manage to lock the door and said he would get it seen to later that day. That night we had to sleep with a suitcase behind the door because it still hadn’t been seen to. For the rest of the week I managed to lock the door by slamming it hard and pulling on the door or pushing it. This caused me considerable discomfort because I have 6 pins in my shoulder. My mother, is in her 80s so she couldn’t help. We started to put clothes in the wardrobe and a chest of drawers, I pulled the draw out and the whole thing fell apart, reported that to the landlord and nothing was done. On the 25th we got a meal mine wasn’t bad but my mother’s meal was red hot on the inside but cold on the outside the landlord said he had wormed it but it still wasn’t edible or hot. We had breakfast in the morning and that was lovely. We didn’t have any more meals in the inn, I think the food maybe a bit hit and miss The kettle is on a wooden box, about a foot off the floor. With a 4 socket extension lead shoved crudely down the side. There is no drip tray under the kettle, if you spilt water it would run off the box straight onto the extension sockets. Also it’s that low down I spilt hot water on my foot trying to make a drink.
