The property showed its age. Was opened in 1937. The room was clean although the bathroom was a bit run down. The plaster on the walls in the shower was cracking and in need of repair. The shower curtain needed to be replaced as well. I was a bit unhappy that we did not have enough hot water for three showers. My wife had luke warm water at best mine was even less. The gentaman at the front desk was very kind and full of information about the area. A bit long winded but I was ok with that. Over all it met our needs other than the shower.

Fun experience while traveling on Route 66!
Awesome experience if you’re looking for a fun Route 66 Motel. Not only is each room custom decorated to a classic movie or music star, the whole motel has fun decorations. There aren’t many places still like this so if you’re looking for something unique this is your place. Rooms themselves are a little small but have everything you need for a night stop on the road. WiFi was good, amentities updated and bed comfortable. I’d definitely stop over again if traveling across Route 66.

Nicest stay in a long time!
We were leary that it would be old, OMG we got a double bed (Elizabeth Taylor) room, by the looks of the outside we really thought it would be small, it was 4 rooms inside!!!! Huge! Clean! Very nicely decorated. I was impressed. I will stay there again. The manager/owner gave us a sort of tour of the town break down. And even a souvenir pin!

Great memories from Route 66!
We really loved this motel. We had seen it on a previous trip to Kingman and it was so enchanting that we determined to stay there the next time through. It has wonderful paintings of cartoons, movies stars and a very long map of Route 66 on the front walls of the motel. The rooms are large and the beds are clean and comfortable. The only two problems were the wifi, which never worked in our room, and under the beds had not been swept in a long time. But we really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others as a great walk back into the Route 66 era.

Rough but Nostalgic
Definitely needs deep cleaning and upgrades. However if you are looking for a nostalgic place on Route 66 it's it.
