We only had a 2-night stay, but I found the unit was clean, the staff very friendly and we have already rebooked for a Christmas stay. The Swan Valley area is very pretty and unique.

Nothing was open at the property. No eating areas, no activities. Was like a ghost town. Room smelt like cigarettes covered up with deoderant spray when we entered. Despite no smoking signs up, the container of cigarette butts from previous guest was right outside the air on intake so the smell was sucked into the room

Staid here many years ago and it was excellent, very disappointing this time and sad to leave the comments below. -The room wasn't ready on arrival at 2.30pm, room cleaners in the room next to ours sitting chatting on the bed when our room was still to be cleaned. - Restaurant was closed and not available - Pool was closed - Reception was unmanned during check out at 10am. - We found a box of valuable jewellery in bed side drawer, it appears the room hadn't been checked before we moved in. when we handed it back to reception, they mentioned the previous tenant had called and told them it was there........ disappointedly they didn't check with us and confirmed it had been found. -The hot water ran out while filling the spa bath. - Fridge had been turned down and was not cold enough to cool or keep items frozen. I really hope they can improve as its a great location.

The property needs a lot of work. The grounds around it were beautiful. Room service list in the room but the resturant was not even open. Staff not present when we arrived , note on door said to use the phone on the right, no phone there. Very small tv that was not connected and had to be tuned in , which we worked out and did. The grounds around are beautiful, convenient for what we needed.

It was extremely difficult to get in touch with the people via phone. I wanted to cancel my reservation for personal reasons but no one would answer. I tried leaving a msg but was unable. I emailed but didn't get a reply. I have no doubt that the facility is extremely comfortable and I hope to be able to make another reservation soon.

The place smelt of cigarettes and we found a butt in the bedroom draw. The place had cobwebs everywhere near windows. The garden was full of weeds and cigarette butts and there were pubic hairs left in the spa. It was dusty. Sheets seems clean but the smell of cigarettes along with the furniture. I have stayed in some dumps on the road before but this had to take the cake especially when they charged $350 a night. They said that Wotif was promoting the property at less then what their rooms went for…Disappointed to say the least.
