Very Good 8.0
This hotel is not close to the train station by any means! Hotel.com needs to update the distance, like 1.5 miles. Need to take a taxi or public transportation. We followed the check in instruction which were incorrect. The room was great, but extremely confusing checking in. Very frustrating after traveling all day. Besides the arrival problems, the room was great with a full refrig and restaurant close to eat at. Grocery store is a close walk and easy to find. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and can be noisy if your are on that side. Laundry is available IF you get the coins from the front desk which was only attended 7-12.

Comfortable accommodation
Very nice one room apartment in a modern building. Location is on top of a steep hill about 2 miles from town - too far to walk so car needed to visit Trier. No one was at the property when we arrived to check in so we had to drive to the sister hotel to get a code which unlocked a safety deposit box which contained our room cards and WiFi codes. Excellent breakfast the next day and very helpful and polite staff at both locations

Good modern Aparthotel at ok location
Modern Aparthotel, new furniture, simple but good breakfast options. One side of the room is directly next to a busy road, which is audible at night. Also during our stay it was hot in Trier (35°+ during the days) and the absence of air-conditioning system was quite a lacklustre. Hotel is a 35 minutes walk away from the centre, bus stop closeby the apartment if you don't want to take this walk. If you use this Aparthotel for your daytrips by car in and around Trier then it's a good starting hub.

Exceptional 10.0
Great place—don’t stay in 101
We stayed two nights in different rooms—more to do in Trier than we expected! Rooms are identical. Nice to have a kitchenette and a grocery store in walking distance. Breakfasts were quite good, too. Very clean. Our second night we were put directly across from the reception desk and breakfast room. Avoid at all costs. You won’t be able to sleep past 6:30. Also the outer blinds don’t close but 3/4 of the way so privacy is an issue—and your windows face the smoking deck and the bus stop! More reasons to avoid room 101. We’d happily stay here again, just not in that room.
