utter disgrace.
Where to start..... I arrived there to be told the following.
1.there was no WiFi
2.the room I booked was not available due to Electrical work but they had upgraded me
3.that room was not ready which I found hard to believe as they had told me that I was the only guest.
4.it took them an hour to get the room ready.
5.I walked carrying my heavy suitcase along a gravel path as far from the main building as possible.
6.the Air conditioning did not work and on checking there was no electricity to the lodge
7.the staff just stood looking at me and suggested I leave my bag and they would try and fix it.
8.I was then told the restaurant closed at 7.00pm and if I was in Luang Prabang after 7.00pm it would cost me $20 to get back in the minibus.
9.The place looked closed and run down. Should not be advertised as open.
I had been here about two hours at this point and decided to leave. I do not expect to have to pay for a room that I had booked that they could not provide it. I emailed Hotels.com but still waiting to hear back.
