Rude Front Desk
the least courteous receptionist I have ever dealt with.

Great hotel
Excellent choice. From airport you can take metro to Omonia station. Hotel is located 100m from there. Clean, great air condition, greatwifi. No available breakfast.

Hotel was nice... we felt a little unease because of the area its in. On the plus side it is very close to the metro that takes you pretty much anywhere and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Ares (Aris) Hotel
Pros: Sweet front desk lady who will assure your necessities for your stay are met. Close to the tourist attractions that you can walk to, or use Uber (it's cheaper than taxis and you meet such nice locals). There's a little shop next door for chips and soda for late-night snacks if needed. Cons: Night shift personnel are clueless to where even the iron and towels are so you have to wait until the morning to receive assistance. The neighborhood is a rundown area with seriously no view, the building in front is partially demolished. The restroom floods with the shower easily and the cold curtain sticks to your back. Oh, and there's only one electrical plug next to the bed that we had to disconnect the TV and create a contraption just to charge our multiple electronic devices. Overall: If you're not gonna spend a lot of time in your room like we did, and don't mind the above-mentioned cons and want to save some money then this hotel might be suitable for you. If not, look away and run elsewhere.
