Terrible Terrible
This was as bad of an experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel in Mexico. Upon arrival our room was 80° or 26.5°C room smelled like it was a sewer. We let the front desk know of our concerns and they assured us it would be taken care of. We were gone for a full day, and only to come back to the same situation. After they told us it had been repaired. The breakfast buffet was at best mediocre many times items set emptied, such as scrambled eggs for upwards of 45 minutes. Also, they require 1000 pesos at check in for any incidentals. After two days of no air conditioning and very little concern by the management and our front desk. Our AC finally did get fixed. There is no effort whatsoever to say here have a free drink on us are any other type of effort for compensation for our inconvenience. We were moved to another room for one night in order to get a good nights rest, and then told we had to leave that room and go back to our old room , which now has been repaired. However, the smell of the sewer did not go away. Upon checkout, they inspected our room and wanted to charge us 50 pesos for a laundry bag that my wife accidentally packed. I thought that was pretty amusing. give it everything that they had put us through that they would want 50 pesos for a plastic laundry bag. Would not recommend room 111 to anybody and will not return to this property however, looking forward to visiting Mexico City again. Many other things I can add to this review on our visit
