Great location
We are a family of 5 and we booked the family room with ensuite. Everything worked and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Best thing about it was being central to the city with centraal station 12 mins walk away, and 2 mins to bars, fast food and supermarkets.

Location is great. Close to train station, canal cruises, etc. Room was clean, very small, and basic. Hallways smelled of smoke. Steep hike up a lot of stairs to upper rooms. Expensive for what you get- a bunkbed and a towel. You really are paying for the location. We visited in June, and were on the 4th floor. It was BOILING HOT!! NO AC and the single window in the room was cracked open only an inch due to a metal bar that prevented it from opening any further. We literally were dripping in sweat the entire night. It was MISERABLE!! Did not sleep well, if at all because of the heat and lack of air flow- borderline unsafe with 5 of us crammed into this small space with no air flow. If we could have opened the window completely it would have been tolerable, but because of all the drugs in the city, the law requires the bar across the window. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Staff was great, location was perfect for walking to a lot of nearby attractions or ordering an uber to pick up right outside the hotel for the farther things. Was a very close walk to the train station. Hotel is kid friendly and doesn't allow smoking inside the rooms, which fit the preferences of our family. There was a lot of stairs up a narrow staircase to get to the room, the room was small but had the necessary amenities including a fan, and the room wasn't completely clean, a lot of dust. Overall we had a good stay.
