Beautiful inn! Great hospitality. Would highly reccomend— especially if you love New England vintage charm! Breakfast was delicious. Games and movies are available for guest use.

Friendly inn and delicious Breakfast
This was the best stay I have ever had at any inn, hotel, vacation rental, anything. The house is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in the Blueberry room, and the decor was spot on. We were concerned being on the main floor right next to the main entrance we'd hear people coming and going, but not once did we hear another soul all night. The jetted tub was wonderful after a long day of skiing. John and Jeanette were so accommodating and willing to help us with everything we needed. They were also delightful to chat with and very friendly. The next morning we had "Canadian Omlettes" for breakfast and it was absolutely phenomenal. All in all, the entire experience was phenomenal and we will most definitely be back next time we are in Bethel.

Beautiful House, Great Hospitality
I stayed here for 4 nights for a ski trip. I picked this B&B because of the excellent location – it is in the center of the cute town of Bethel and within walking distance of the local ski shuttle and restaurants. The house is gorgeous. John and Jeanette have preserved the Victorian charm right down to the silver coffee pot used for breakfast. And what a breakfast! Jeanette is a wonderful cook and makes everything from scratch with local ingredients. The fresh baked goods offered as afternoon snacks were a nice touch, too. I stayed in the Wandering Moose room. John was apologetic about the minor imperfections of the room and explained that the renovation was not complete. I was offered a room of my choosing if I did not like it, but I ended up staying there the whole time because I liked it so much. I found it comfortable and I really liked the large size, kitchenette, Victorian furnishings, hardwood floors and private entrance. The best part of my stay, by far, was the hospitality of Jeanette and John. They did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I especially liked it when they offered to join me for breakfast and chatted with me before I went skiing. They are very personable and easy to talk to. They made me feel like an honored guest, which was very sweet. They generously offered to fetch me from the ski resort in the event the shuttle did not run during the impending Nor’easter. Overall, I had a great time and recommend this B&B!

Very Good8.0
Mayberry Hospitality
This is a 110 year old building not without its foibles. However at the price point and with such pleasant hospitality and amenities at a central location it is well worth consideration.

Unbelievably Great Stay at Holidae House!
This was our first time staying at a proper B&B and the bar is high for everyone else now. We had such an amazing time staying at Holidae House and that is due in large part to the owners, John and Jeanette. The house is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The house has a variety of board games & puzzles to play; our room had a TV, Blu-ray player (and the house has a great selection of DVDs and Blu-rays), a tub with jets, a very comfortable bed, alarm clock with usb ports, white noise machine, hair dryer; delicious, freshly-made breakfast the next morning, along with fresh ground coffee and juice; there’s a Keurig available for coffee around the clock, along with teas, water, and fresh-baked cookies that were available all day long. I mention all the amenities (that I can remember!) because it was almost overwhelming how much I felt my comfort and satisfaction were a priority here. I’ve stayed at far more expensive hotels with less than half of the amenities offered here and I have never felt more comfortable at any of those hotels. I would love to come back to Bethel just to stay at the Holidae House again. Our stay was great not only because of the amenities of the house but because of John and Jeanette themselves. They were always available, never intrusive; we also had a great conversation over breakfast about life and our stories. They really know how to make a great experience for any guest and truly care that their guests are taken care of.
