The hotel is situated in the heart of the old town, close to many attractions. The room was spacious, clean.

Really charming hotel in a great location! Room was small but comfortable for 2 people. Loved being directly across the street from the tram and a beautiful cafe! Stay in Alfama, it's an amazing spot in Lisbon within walking distance of other areas of the city.

Quiet, cozy, comfy, excellent location. Other than check in I did not see anyone in the building, nor at check out. But otherwise would stay again.

The staff was extremely helpful at both check-in and check-out. They gave us a local map with suggested points of interest, and on check-out, immediately volunteered to call a taxi when we asked about the best place to catch one. And we loved the surrounding area--it has to be one of the most picturesque parts of Lisbon, with plenty of restaurants and shops within a short walk. Will definitely return!

Staff (Julietta) was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated at a great location but quite a walk. Note that Lisbon is built on 7 hills so expect that you will have to go up and down hills; the location is no different. It's so close to S. Jorge castle (must see). There is a convenient store close by and a nice wine bar that makes amazing appetizers.

First, no one answered the doorbell, which I rang multiple times during operating hours (1:30 pm), fine the chrck-in wasn’t till 2. However, I had a heavy bag, I needed to drovoff and didn’t want to wait outside in the extreme heat, There were 3 numbers listed above the doorbell and after unsuccessfully callin then numerous times, I asked a worker from the store next door for help and she tried the numbers unsucessfully. She was kind enough to let me leave my luggage at her store. After a while, I got a hold of someone and was able to check-in. The AC didn’t work at night, very hot, the bathroom trash can was full from the previous occupant, and the TV was under repair. The people were nice, jjust not worth the money, I’ve stayed at nicer hostels for much less.

Shower had not been cleaned. Toilet seat broken. Missing a bath towel (given only a hand towel). No city map available. Breakfast room a little dirty with stained seat upholstery and food stuck to placemats. Good location. Staff person friendly, but overall it did not meet my expectations.
