Exceptional 10.0
Amazing hotel stay, excellent staff
This place has the most remarkable service we had ever experienced. Even though we missed a train and had to arrive past midnight through taking a taxi from Nagano station, when we arrived, the staff woke up to greet us and give us our fresh dinner bento boxes. The room was beautiful and they offered free shuttles to the monkey park, and had amazing views at breakfast and in the lobby of the hokkaido mountains! It was amazing, truly incredible hotel experience and the best I've ever had.

Not an Exciting Memory
The hotel needs updating, quite run down. The plus point was that they had a Mandarin speaking staff who helped us navigate through dinner and breakfast. What puzzled us was that we had to pay a bath tax even though one did not use the Onsen.

Nice onsen Hôtel
Great onsen. Perfect place for an overnight stay after the snow monkey park. Dinner and breakfast are both decent too

Perfect experience of Japanese culture
Really good breakfasts and dinners. Real experience of Japanese culture sleeping on futons, wearing yukatas, bathing in onsen and kaiseki meals. Complimentary shuttle service from Yudanaka station and snow monkey park. Day trip to Shiga Kogen ski mountain from Yudanaka station using public bus and ryokan was kind enough to prepare packed lunch boxes as a substitute of breakfasts as we have to leave early. Beautiful Baioji temple covered with snow is just one minute walk away.

Beauti Place. Very well maintained and the onsen was great. We enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer
