Tube Guru very helpful
Mr Rees was Tube Guru-very helpful with routes & possible maintenance slowdowns. Night clerk Eddy always willing to look up tourist info. Staff very attentive.

The room was rather large and was enough to accommodate my family of 4 with all our luggage and things. The front desk staff is outstanding and provides excellent customer service. I would stay again.

Charming hotel with excellent breakfast!
charming hotel that is kept in excellent condition and very clean. You are taken care of very well during your stay and the staff are so helpful and friendly! The breakfast is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend! This very comfortably slept our family of 5. It is just a couple of blocks to a tube station and in a very quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the British Museum.

A wonderful friendly place in fantastic location!
Everything about this hotel is great! The owners/operators are a local family who are exceptionally nice and helpful people. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and tasty. Location is fantastic: two Underground stations within 5 minute walk and one of them is on the direct line to/from Heathrow Airport. Highly recommended as a convenient and affordable place to stay in the very expensive London :) There is one downside to this hotel - the walls inside are paper-thin, i.e. you literally hear everything that takes place in the neighboring room. It was not a major issue for us as we spent all days sightseeing, etc., so were coming to the hotel just to sleep for the night. Besides, this is not a cheap hostel, so people who stay here respect others around them. I did, however, wanted to make fellow travelers aware of that, in case it is important. Again, this was not a major problem for us yet we were unpleasantly surprised.

Pleasant, very clean centrally located
This hotel is a converted Victorian townhouse. It's a little tired, considering the price but very clean with a hearty and friendly English breakfast. My room was tiny

Not what expected and no bathroom in room or on sa
The people who checked us were nice but the accommodations were less than desirable. We did not have AC or a restroom in our room. We actually had to go down a flight of stairs to get to the restroom. I also requested a ground floor room and we were up three floors. The room was clean and so was the bathroom so that was good. The hotel was just not at all what I expected.

Great location and place to stay!
We stayed for 6 days and it was a great place to stay. Gwen and rest of staff are way willing to help get you where you are going! Goodge Underground Station is just 3 blocks away, grab an oyster card and get to going. Nice breakfast each morning. Shower is small but we expected that on our budget. The room however was nicely laid out and it felt like we had plenty of room. Comfy bed, tv in room, usb wall sockets to plug in phone without convertor, and a sitting area out back with a guinea pig:) Wet would recommend staying here!

Hotel was conveniently located, very clean, and a great value for London. Staff was nice. Excellent hot breakfast every morning. As common in EU, many rooms use a communal toilet/shower, so make sure to book the en suite if you would like a private bathroom in your room. I was there for a heat wave, so the no AC in rooms was VERY hot but there are windows to open with a small fan to help circulate air. Would stay here again on my next trip. I stayed here on the way in and out of London. On the street side, Friday night was very loud with traffic as we had to open the windows for air. Recommend bringing ear plugs. Back rooms were quiet overlooking the courtyard.
