Very Good 8.0
We stayed here 4 nights. We rented cottage 11. It's off to the side so it was semi private. There is not really any property here so we were out pretty much every day. The cottage was very clean and the owners very kind and helpful. My only let downs were they need to change the pillows because they were very compressed and hard. Also, the mattress wasn't very comfortable. Not to bad for a night or two but it was 4 nights for us so we were really feeling it by then... Also, bring and iron and blow dryer with you if that's something you think you will need. They weren't in this cottage.

We just did a 5 day loop starting and ending back in Boston, going to the White Mountains in NH, out to Stonington, and staying here was probably our favorite lodging experience. Owners are so hospitable, used the lobster boiling pot and the grill for a great locally sourced meal, and felt so cozy in our cabin in the woods so close to the sea. Location is great as was perfect distance from Stonington, state park right next door with amazing vistas, and great drive down the coast. Great place!

Highly recommended cabins for couples or families
We had an excellent stay in this cute, well designed, and well maintained cabin. The owners are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The proximity to hiking, views, the ocean and lakes couldn't be better. Also, Camden and Belfast are very close, and both have interesting places to go and some nice restaurants. Part of the reason why the cabin is so convenient is that it is right on Atlantic Highway. That wasn't so bad, but it does mean that you hear big trucks going by periodically in the night.

Great family cottages
Great location for families or two couples. Visited with my elder father, was treated like family by owners Gary and Barbara. Really nice to have a real kitchen so as to not be a slave to the local restaurant scene. Easy access to Camden Hills State Park, Ducktrap River kayaking, Island ferries and day trips to Acadia National Park. Don't get me started about the Red Barn Bakery next door, let's just say that they know me on a first name basis. Highly recommend, will definitely return!

Lovely Lodges
Had a great overnight stay at Pine Grove Cottages, staying in a bright, clean, and comfortable log cabin. My wife and I grilled on the deck in the evening and ate breakfast outside in the Maine sunshine in the morning. Facilities were great and the hosts were charming and helpful -- even calling my cell to let me know I'd left a sweater in the cabin at checkout. Really great place, right on Route 1 just before Lincolnville Beach.
