An Honest Review Without The Obligation of a Gift.
Very nice people at this hotel. Transportation service from airport to hotel was excellent. Breakfast was decent and the coffee was great. Bed comfort was okay. I would give this place a 2.5 star rating mainly due to: Location - when you step out onto the street there is animal excrement and trash just about everywhere you go & this is because next to & near to the hotel are stables & places along the street where animals are parked when they're not working them with the tourists. Secondly, the view from the rooftop terrace is not the best view. There are cell phone towers that impede the view (in spite of emails I received saying this was not the case) . You should know there is a sound & light show at night for the pyramids & there are better locations to view this than from this location. I also noticed quite a few deferred maintenance items overall throughout the hotel that could use some attention. The lobby and eating area on the rooftop terrace were cold. These areas need to be heated for comfort of the guests. Housekeeping could use some additional training and oversight - I was there 4 nights & had to get my own supplies (t paper, soap, water, etc) The empty gel & shampoo containers on the shower floor were never picked up & discarded my entire stay. Lastly, I believe this hotel has a higher rating than it should because they are VERY aggressive in getting guests to rate the hotel before they leave & offering a "gift" to do so. I left mine behind.

Sadly a pass.
Super shabby and just honesty dirty. Hair on pillows etc. Would not stay again. Roof top bar with Pyramid view though was really amazing. the day time manager was cool and nice. We wanted to give them a better review but we just couldn’t.

Great View!
My friend and I really enjoyed staying at this property. Warm hospitality, comfy beds, lovely free breakfast included and wow! You can't beat the view! Note that airport shuttle is only complimentary from the airport to the hotel, not the reverse. Nana and Mo were a delight to work with!

Great all around!
HOUSTON, TX-Even though our flight arrived late, Best View Puramids Hotel ensured our driver was there and waiting, which was a true relief! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, comfy bed, amazing view, great price!! What more could you ask for? Oh, and they arrange tours in the hotel!

If you want to stay near Giza, this is the Place!
So it is the best place to stay in Giza. It has an excellent view of the pyramids. The owners can arrange transportation and excursions. The discounted Nile Cruise (back in Cairo) was great. The "restaurant" upstairs needs work. We had an early lunch and were the only ones in the place but service was slow!!! I'm fairly sure the guy waiting on us left the property, bought the food from a street vendor and returned some 40 minutes after it was ordered. The property did do an excellent job on the laundry service. Ahmed was our tour guide of the Pyramids on horseback. I demanded all three of us be on horses so we had a chance to Gallop. We did a few times and it was awesome. Ahmed had a decent knowledge of the history. The horses condition was not good. I felt bad for them. Finally the whole area is hugely desperate. During the two hours with Ahmed, I thought he might shield Masha and I from others looking to make a quick five dollars, but they came. First Ahmed needed the money for the entry into the Giza complex, Then The horse boy, then the man with the head coverings, then The man selling warm sodas, even Ahmed needed 200 more pounds and hour in to visit the tombs which I'm pretty sure was included in the Giza entry, and Ahmed of course wanted a tip too at the end. I am fine with spending the 100 dollars, but should have been clear with pricing and that Ahmed was to keep others away. The hotel was alright...If I was to stay in Giza again, it would be here.

Poor 2.0
Completely Unacceptable
Best View Pyramids is s sham and a scam. The pictures on this website are very old.. the hotel looks far more rundown. I had to request toilet paper and towels because the hotel does not automatically provide them. The room was not cleaned once during my stay and the bedsheets were not changed. Staff is pushy, overbearing... ALWAYS rounding up when converting from Egyptian pound to USD or Euro. The staff will try to sell you unnecessary “tour guides” and “drivers” when Uber is SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive and the “guides” try to rush you through visiting the pyramids and other historic sites. They overcharge you and take you to establishments where you pay the hotel in advance, never see a menu or a bill. The hotel keeps the “commission.” The “restaurant” on site charges three times as much as the items are actually worth in Cairo ( Pepsi for 30 EGP when in the city it costs 10 EGP.) The free breakfast was inconsistently there... and the butter packets were 2-3 months expired! Seafood pasta for $20 USD contained a few tiny shrimp! There is a stable directly adjacent to the hotel and it attracts so many flies! Smells strongly of camel and horse. Worst part- I paid for a pyramid view and got a view of the rooftop chicken coop instead! Dishonest people... my kids and I were so stressed out that we checked out early and booked a 5 star hotel in Cairo! And guess what... Best View Pyramids refused to refund me for the early check out. Complete dishonesty and the worst experience.

Poor 2.0
Good on a budget
The nice part was it is walking distance to the pyramids and free pick up from the airport, the bad part is everything else. High pressure tour sales every time you walk out your room, tours seem very rushed, everyone asks for tips, the breakfast is horrible and the hotel stairwell smelled like urine and the room was dirty, also there is no laundry facilities for guest as stated on the site. The staff was friendly though. You get what you pay for I guess

Good on a budget I guess.
Not impressed with this hotel. High pressure tour sales from the staff every time you leave your room and the tours felt rushed. Smelled of urine in the stairwell, food was bad. Stayed 3 days on 2 different bookings so I could see the sites, I will not be staying there again. Staff was friendly though and walking distance to the pyramids, but the neighborhood is filthy and the hotel is loud. Affordable though.
