Hip Hostel
Very hip hotel with neat bar/restaurant. Helpful and friendly staff, definitely a great spot to stay in Galway.

Unique design
Really interesting interior design: I like doing how unique the public spaces were, and how clean, simple, and Scandinavian-ish the bedroom was. The door between the toilet and the bed is barn-style, which means it doesn't seal shut, which my husband didn't like. But if you're less bashful, I'm sure you'll enjoy The Nest. Very helpful staff!

Too spartan a room , no place for luggage. Awesome shower. Sink stopper impossible to lift if u shut it.

Very Basic
The room is probably the most basic hotel room I have ever stayed in. You have what you need, but nothing more. Wouldn't be very comfortable for more than a night or 2. That said, the common area is nice. The breakfast wasn't bad - pastries, toast and jam, and coffee. The price is good, it was clean, and it's only a short walk into the heart of Galway.
