Great location, excellent host
Alessandro went out of his way to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We arrived before regular check-in but he quickly met us after we called and checked us in early before the room was ready allowing us to store our bags; he even helped getting them up to the 1st floor. He placed our bags in the room as soon as it was ready; a nice touch. While we only stayed one night, we were also able to store our bags after checkout; a great convenience. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the Colesseum, the Roman Forum and even the Pantheon. Bed was comfortable (the foam mattress was a little stiff, but slept fine). Nice to have packages breakfast pastries and coffee in the room for next morning. And by the way, the restaurant down stairs is pretty good and the maitre d’ is a hilarious.

Great location, comfy bed, cozy
Residenza Roma Imperiale was a perfect base for us (couple in mid - late 30's). We enjoy walking and public transportation, and the location of the hotel was a main draw. Very comfortable bed. The windows were quite sound proof, seeing as we were on the second story above a main street. Patrizia and Alessandro were very accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. For our purposes, it could not have been a better place to rest after walking miles and seeing sites each day.

Alessandro was excellent with communications and reached out before my intended arrival to co-ordinate a check-in time

Great clean location!!
The host had great communication. She arranged for taxi transport from the airport but you could also take the train to the Colosseum stop (yes it’s that close) She also met us prior to check in, as our flights arrived at 9:30am, to check us in and hold luggage so we could get to exploring Rome. The room is modern and clean. Water and light breakfest items were provided at no extra cost. The only down side is there are other rooms within “pod”and you can definitely here them coming and going. You will also here morning hustle and bustle outside as well But it’s not terribly bad. I would definitely stay here again. You can’t beat the location, cleanliness, and communication
