Great Place to Stay in Lisbon
We stayed in the deluxe double room and it was fantastic. The room was well decorated and I loved the beams running through the room. It was quiet at night (which is sometimes difficult in the city). The front desk was very helpful. We arrived into the city early the morning of our stay and they held our bags until our check in time. The hotel is very close to several attractions and places to eat. It is also quite close to the metro for easy access to various parts of the city and the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Best location for tourist!
First, the pros: The staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent service at all times. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was as better than many. The gentleman working the breakfast area was most efficient and helpful. For a hotel room in a major city it was larger than some we have stayed in. They have free cellphones you can use during your stay..very cool. When we had a minor problem with the shower drain they sent someone right away to fix it. The location could not have been better. Very close to buses and metro. The reception can arrange pickup and return to the airport. 25 euros to pick up and 17 euros. to return. The only thing we would have done differently is ask for a higher floor as the second floor is a bit noisy even with their good windows. Also..the bathroom walls are all glass and although it is frosted glass...not much privacy. But there is really nothing they can do about that. The air conditioner is a stand-alone in the room but, again, that is standard in the old buildings. Overall if you are a tourist in Lisbon this is a good value and best location. And the staff is terrific.

Nice location for old Lisbon
Nice location - once I found it. It has an awning on the street but I missed it. My room on the 5th floor was perfect and old elevator worked perfectly. Breakfast was varied and very good. Great location next to Santa Justa Lift, and easy walking to castle San Jorge. Best surprise were public squares nearby with evening activities.

Great place to stay in old Lisbon
A perfect place to stay while exploring Lisbon--close to a Metro stop and many bus routes, easy to walk around the old city, surrounded by shops and cafes, and close to lots of restaurants. Front desk staff all very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and comfortable room.
