Pics can be deceiving
Firstly, a word of warning: the pictures of this hotel don’t accurately reflect reality. Perhaps they were taken when the hotel first opened however it is already showing signs of wear and tear, and quite frankly bad maintenance. It felt quite grubby in parts. We stayed in a two bed apartment and there were greasy finger marks on walls and doors. It’s as though housekeeping just couldn’t be bothered to do a proper clean. Both lots of room service we ordered or separate days still had dirty plates sitting outside the front door - even though housekeeping came daily. Eventually I had to ask at the front desk for it to be removed. There was a loud noise in the second bedroom roof at certain times of the day, which we were told is the pool pump. To be fair the hotel did address our complaint immediately and offered to move us, however we chose to stay in the room as were told the noise wouldn’t be on at night (which it wasn’t) how if you like day naps we could see this being annoying. The hotel front desk didn’t seem particularly organised and didn’t have records of our booking inclusive of breakfast, and were trying to charge for breakfast again. When we produced the Hotels.com booking, they asked for a photo of it - this happened twice. On the plus side, the food at the hotel was excellent - room service in particular. Breakfast was good though slightly lacking in variety. The location is spot on for Kamala beach (a few mins walk).

Lovely hotel in Kamala
Absolutely lovely modern hotel just a few minutes walk from Kamala beach restaurants and beach. Lots of mod cons and lovely little pools attached to some of the rooms. Superb breakfast and staff (make sure you give them all the keys back at the end as they get a little upset if you can’t find them). Little tip use the app grab for taxis in Phuket they are everywhere and much cheaper than the hotel prices

High tech apartment, good breakfast and service
Glam habitat is a clean and new hotel suitable for young couples and families. The apartment adopted smart use of technology such as self drawing curtains, auto flushing system, 3 different types of shower in one space and even in room pool which doubles up as a big jacuzzi! Xbox kinect/smart tv is also provided so at least we have in room activities on days that we decided to stay in (it was raining almost every afternoon when we were there). Some other areas that i would like to compliment is their hotel breakfast and service (most staffs are multi lingual, they can speak english/mandarin/thai). Will definitely stay at Glam Habitat again if I visit Phuket the next time! Highly recommended. Note: Travelling in phuket is pretty costly. For taxi rides: It costs us 900baht from Bang rong pier to Glam habitat. It costs us 200baht from Glam habitat to Kamala city It costs us 1200baht from Glam habitat to Phuket International airport.
