Suites et Hotel Helzear Etoile, Paris

Ines at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite. She went out of her way to arrange for our transportation to the Airport.

The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a good one.

Overall the front desk staff was awesome, hard working and attentive. Our room was always cleaned, the toiletries were sometimes a little short, but all I did was ask the front desk staff. The room was on the first floor and as any expected with any City, noise was at times a little much, especially when enjoying the Parisian night life and trying to get those little extra Z's. As to the hotel's location to shopping, sites and places to eat-fabulous.

Did not get room reserved

Taxi dropped us at 10:00pm at the address that appears in the confirmation documents (12 rue Christophe Colomb). We were told then that we were staying in a separate building two blocks away (49 Ave Marceau). We had to walk with 2 sleepy kids and 5 bags at 10:30pm! Our reservation was for a 324sqft suite, with kitchenette. Our room was hardly 300sqft, bed was literally between two walls, no night stands. After opening the sofa bed there was NO room for the bags and/or to move around. Room photos on the web have nothing to do with the room that was given to us. They are all completely misleading. We were given WiFi passwords for each device but we never got access. We had to use roaming the entire stay. A/C-Heater can not be controlled from the room (key pad is locked and you must called to reset). Our room was too hot! Called 3 consecutive days to adjust temperature and no one came to fix. We liked the location and the apartment/hotel concept. Unfortunately, we would never stay here again, needless to say in Victor Hugo Room and do not recommend.
