No Water, No Explanation

Check in was smooth and due to running in a half marathon the next day we requested and extra hour to check out (to Noon). No problem. We left for the race at 6am and returned at 10:45 to hear from another guest who was leaving that there was NO Water! We did but hear this from management. I went to the(open) office to find no one. We stayed about an hour to clean up (without water) and never heard from management. We only really needed two things on our overnight, a bed and a shower, the Lodge only delivered 50%. We understand that sometimes these things happen but the lack of communication from management or staff was inexcusable.
