Bayside Inn, Digby
Great stay in a quaint inn!
Great stay in this quaint, comfy inn. Beautiful view of the bay from the enclosed front porch. Very friendly & helpful innkeeper!

Plan Ahead! (I didn’t.)
I am not sure whether to give 2 or 3 stars because my room (9) had its bathroom access via the hall; that for me is a major problem for a B&B that charges this much money. On the other hand, the room itself, is clean, large, and newly decorated in acceptable (eclectic) taste for a seaside resort. The textured ceiling is a nice touch, since it is so low. The bed is comfortable; that is what is most important in my book; and so are the 2 upholstered arm chairs. The WiFi is good. Ice is not available once the front desk closes in the early evening. Beware of the dinner recommendations; even with the inn’s 10% discount, Fundy Restaurant IS overpriced. E.g., $14 for a glass of Tidal Bay white wine? Food and view are good, but also overpriced. Ultimately, I decided on 2 stars for the Bayside Inn because the street lights, street noise, heat (no A/C), and poor ventilation (curtains block fresh air as well as street lights) interfered with a good night’s sleep.

Beautiful view i
The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Location was perfect for exploring Digby. The only negative was the bathroom. Although very spacious, it was very dated and somewhat awkward.

Would definitely stay here again if in Digby
Our room on the top floor was lovely. A picture window overlooked the bay. We woke early to watch a beautiful sunrise. This room had a lovely spacious ensure bathroom. Some rooms required a few steps down hall fora private for that room bath. It helps to have a nimble husband to carry luggage upstairs. Breakfast was very nice and we were glad for eggs. We did enjoy our meal and carrot cake at the Captains abin a few blocks walk thrutown, some on the harbor walk. Parking on the road directly across from Inn.

Bayside Inn - highly recommended
Bayside Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The location was great, right across the street from the harbor. It is also in close proximity to the major highway, the ferry to New Brunswick and various places of interest. The owner was charming and informative. We would highly recommend staying there.
