Quaint and unique stay in Georgetown!
We stayed here for 2 nights this past July and completely adored it. A well preserved old gem in the heart of Georgetown with just 7 or 8 rooms with some unique artifacts and beautiful Chinese furniture pieces. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. A special thank you to Rubilyn and her co-workers who do an excellent job in the upkeep of this place. Would love to come back and stay again!

Excellent Historical Hotel
Excellent historical hotel. It was like traveling back in time. Huge room with an attached veranda. Very relaxing. If this is your thing, you will be rewarded.

Quaint and full of character - can't fault it.
My brother and I just spent a night at this wonderful and quaint hotel in the middle of a bustling Georgetown. It had beautiful character, spaciously clean rooms and bathrooms, with a lovely breakfast included. Everything is in walking distance and I can't find fault with anything. If you aren't comfortable mastering stairs, ask for a room on ground level (staircases are narrow).

Great heritage hotel with clean rooms, great staff
It was brilliant, great place, great staff!! Would definitely stay again! - Breakfast - big enough to get you through till dinner - Room - clean, netting over the bed, comfortable. Loved the enclosed terrace sitting area attached to the room. - Staff - one of the reasons you'd come back and stay here. Helpful, happy, amazing.

All thumbs up for Cafe Atelier
This heritage hotel is absolutely outstanding, everything was perfect from the first minute to the last. We were greeted by the very competent and friendly management team with refreshments and lots of local insight. The room or rather more like an apartment on the first floor was everything I expected, this 1927 house is still in very original condition, yet does have all the modern amenities like AC, WIFI, TV, modern bathroom etc.It is located right in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage Area of Penang, so everything you want to see is in walking distance. Breakfast was very good, with probably the best coffee I had in Malaysia. Our flight left Penang in the evening, so we still had a full day of sightseeing in Penang, after which the Cafe Atelier management team afforded us the possibility to take a shower before we headed to the airport. We will be back next chance we get!
