Better than nothing
I always resist staying at hotels where you enter the room from the outside. But, sometimes you have no choice. As usual in those cases, this was a disappointment. The walls were not soundproof and I could hear every television and argument that occurred in the adjacent rooms (and there were a few of each). I had to wear ear plugs to get to sleep. The toilet tank valve was faulty so the toilet “ran” all night. The bed was nothing to write home about. But, the sheets were clean, the shower was hot & the free coffee was good.

Terrible hotel! WiFi is a joke! 1/2 star hotel!!
The property looks terrible. The room was ok, but gets a bad review due to no vents in the bathroom so it got very hot & muggy in the vanity area & separate toilet/shower area. Then on top of that at about 0700 they started doing construction on a room near us & were making all sorts of racket! The hotel being under construction was not listed on! The rooms at this flea bag motel are only worth about $40 a night if that! Since it was Labor Day weekend everything was overpriced & we paid $84 for the room! The free WiFi is pathetic & only gets 1Mbps which is a joke & not even capable of menial internet usage like checking an email, and has zero chance of streaming anything! Will NEVER stay here again nor ever recommend it to anyone!

Clean room with comfortable bed at great price
This is an older motel that has been renovated. We were greeted warmly by the owner and his wife on check-in. They asked how our travels had been. The room was clean with fresh paint, new tile in the bathroom, with nice décor. The room also smelled clean, which is sometimes not the case with older units. The bathroom is large, our unit had separate rooms with toilet/bath-shower combo in one room and a double sink basin in the other. The A/C unit was quite noisy (the fan), but worked fine. The bathroom doors also squeaked, which a few drops of oil would resolve. The shower unit also has a straight curtain rod, so when showering the curtain tended to be quite close. This could be easily remedied if they install a rounded rod that gives a bit more space. There is a nice large screen TV mounted on the wall. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good nights rest. There are places to eat near by, within walking distance. I would stay at this motel in the future.

Welcoming, clean and comfortable.
This motel suited my purposes perfectly as I was using it as an overnight break in a trip from Paradise, CA to Cedar Hills, UT. Winnemucca is the half-way point and the Regency Inn made for a pleasant respite.
