No sleep in gritty neighborhood
This is a partially remodeled room with no normal hotel services, looking over a graffiti-ridden alleyway with a bar next door, in a neighborhood KNOWN FOR ITS NIGHTLIFE. It's a bad sign when ear plugs are provided in the room, but they are necessary if you want to sleep before 3am. The alleyway smells bad, and you have a view of a graffiti-covered wall and a nosy neighbor constantly peering in. I found a moldy lemon in the fridge when I got in. The bathroom was tiny, had not been remodeled, and looked dirty. They don't provide normal hotel services: no concierge/front desk, no cleaning during your stay, and no fresh towels or sheets. Getting there is a hassle because cars aren't allowed in the alleyway, so you have to drag your luggage down a block, then up the narrow flight of unlit stairs to get to the room. Would not pay more than $40 for this place, tops. Stay at a hostel instead, or at a hotel in Chiado.

Amazing stay in Lisbon. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic, authentic and chic getaway. The service was impeccable and personalized. We had a wonderful time and the apartment was in the best location.

Fantastic boutique apartment
Beautifully kept little apartment in Lisbon. Everything you might need is there waiting for you- even a welcome spread of cheese, port,jam, fruit,bread and cake all laid out on the table at the window overlooking the street. Super comfy bed and pillows.. can be a little noisy in the evenings as it is situated in one of the drinking lanes of the old town, but pretty good sleep in all honesty (and I am a light sleeper!) Iron and ironing board and good hairdryer also in the room. The kitchen has all the usual -cooker,fridge,oven,dishwasher etc and the fridge is stocked for you on arrival with cheese,yoghurts,fruit, uht milk,juice. There is also cereal,rice and pasta for you to use if you want to. Tea towels,napkins,washing up stuff,kettle,toaster... The bathroom is small but good.. hot shower with good water pressure,herbal shampoo and body wash, candles and great smelling towels! The taxi from the airport was 12.50 euros inc luggage, but he had to drop us off on the main street as he couldnt get down the back streets as he said they are too small.. but if you ask Monica to organise a taxi she will tell them which way to get in to drop you straight in front of the apartment (worth sorting out with her!) It is a 5 min walk to get anywhere and even around the apartment there are plenty of bars, minimarkets, restaraunts,etc

Zentral gelegen, wunderbarer Service. Abends allerdings ist Bairo Alto der "Ballermann" von Lissabon. Schlafen deshalb nur mit OHROPAX möglich. Haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix/emplacement
Un petit appartement avec une chambre presque grande, une petit salon, une cuisine complètement équipée et une petite salle d'eau (avec douche). Décoration charmante. Propreté impeccable. Accueil chaleureux avec de nombreuses attentions à notre arrivée (café, patisseries, fruits...) Literie récente et suffisamment ferme sans être dure. Télé, wifi, machine à café, etc. La chambre 205 est idéale pour 2 personnes ou avec un enfant. L'hôtel est silencieux bien qu'il soit situé rue de Atalaia considérée comme l'une des plus animées de Lisbonne. Mais la résidence se trouve tout en haut de cette rue piétonne, donc loin des bars et restaurants. Dans la rue, nombreux établissement excellents et bon marché (tacos, tapas, consommations...). Non loin de l'église San Roque et du funiculaire, non loin d'un parc. Au chauffeur de taxi ou Uber (prix très raisonnable de l'aéroport), donner l'adresse Rua da Rosa N°200, car il ne pourra accéder à la rue piétonne.
