    Be careful!

    Got to the hotel at 10:30pm and my pre-paid reservation was not honored. Was told by the clerk on staff "that sometimes hotel.com will change your reservation to another location". That "other location" was not where anyone would want to stay. I was not allowed to stay at this hotel that I paid for. Currently trying to find out who is at fault. I suggest that you find another hotel other then this hotel.

    Clean, Beautiful, Professional

    The room was spotlessly clean. The lobby was beautiful. The young gentleman checking us in was kind, patient, had good manners, and was dressed professionally, (even though it was midnight). The breakfast was great and everything looked clean there too. The bed comfortable. May I say again..very clean..and beautiful hotel..

    I planned ahead and booked/paid for my hotel room through Expedia, instead of using discount for blocked rooms for my nephews wedding. I received my confirmation and itinerary from Expedia. Upon arrival to the hotel I was told that they did not have a reservation for me. I attempted to contact Expedia but received a message that it would take 2 hours for an Expedia rep to join the call. Already late, I paid for the hotel stay through the hotel at an insane rate for 2 nights. I could’ve stayed at an actual Hilton Hotel for the same price. With the hopes that Expedia could sort this out when I could finally get a hold of them. The room was way over charged for the quality of the room. There was mold in the tracks of the shower door. Bleach?? The fan did not work in the bathroom. Waited the next day to speak to Expedia. After 1 1/2 hrs I spoke to someone who put my on hold again for another 1/2 hr to tell me she would escalate with Expedia. Finally received an email last night that nothing could be done. So no, I would not ever stay at another Hampton Inn, nor after 6 faithful years of using Expedia and their Credit Credit card, will I ever use them again!!! Very disappointed

    Disappointed-won’t stay here again…

    The room smelled like a dog had stayed there. We checked in after 9 pm-we sprayed deodorant throughout the room & put AC on 70–AC did not work properly & room humid & hot-when sofa bed opened-made up-but also dirty sheet left rolled up on top of sofa bed mattress-hair noted on shower wall-we chose not to shower. Voiced concerns to rep in am to please report to manager-room 306–request a refund

    Horrible experience

    On May 17 we made and paid for a room through Hotels.Com for one night. The reservation was confirmed but, after 10 hrs of driving, when we arrived on June 4 the hotel did not have the reservation in their system! We paid for the night again at almost three times the rate we booked it for! When I contacted Hotels.Com that night I was told there was a 4 hr wait for customer service. I have since contacted customer service and was told they would pay for the night but have not done so. Neither have they sent me the confirmation email stating this that was promised!! Never again with Hotels.Com,

    Bait and switch SCAM and outright Fraud!!

    My family arrived at the Walterboro Hampton May 31, with the actual printed reservation location and confirmation numbers. I walked into the location and was told by the desk clerk that despite already paying for the room I had no room there, but at the Quality Inn which the same organization also operates. The Hampton Inn was not overbooked and I was offered a room for $158 despite already paying for it. I did not want the Quality Inn as it looked like a dump. Fortunately the Holiday Inn across the street gave to my family's rescue. HOTELS .com did not help me. I and others have been subjected to this scam at this hotel. Do NOT book this hotel. That 9.2 rating hides a scam that has affected several people. I am awaiting a refund and will be turning this matter over to my credit card company as a fraudulent business masquerading as a hotel .
