Simple, easy, convenient
This is a very basic classic motor lodge hotel, where you park right in front of the door to your room. The rooms are good sized. Our room had updated furnishings which were almost Scandinavian in their simplicity and usefulness. There is no fridge, no breakfast, no frills, but numerous eating options within walking distance. It was quiet. Also, pet friendly. We would certainly stay there again.

When we came to check in there were no rooms available yet because they needed cleaning. The front counter rep took my ph# to call when ready. Never recieved call after two hours. All good other than that.

First Stay - not as expected.
Room was clean; only amenity was bar of soap, no tissues, hair dryer [had to ask at the front desk and go borrow one]. Biggest issue was the sink barely drained. When called the first night, was told that there are NO MAINTENANCE staff on the weekends [which thought was odd since that is when most guest stay. Very inconvenient washing hands, brushing teeth with that drain. By the next morning, it was NOT draining AT ALL. Called again, toldl them SOMEONE has to address this issue, still had another night to stay. Was told they would have housekeeping look at it. Was out for the day. Upon return, the sink WAS fixed and draining fine; but noticed the trash was still in the room and bed not made. Would have at least thought they would remove the trash. Also, the door jammed a few times when using the key card; light turned green but door wouldn't open.

Basic and good!
This is a very clean motel. The interiors were recently remodeled, repainted etc. The only problem is that the walls are really thin. Some guests are oblivious of that and are loud when getting late to the room or waking up very early. I would recommend to remind guests to be cordial towards other guests and do not make noise between 10pm and 7am.
