Very Good8.0
This hotel is so charming and is located just a few doors down from a historic cathedral and Incan temple site. There is a really good restaurant that shares the same courtyard and offers excellent Peruvian food. There are a couple of tips visitors need to know: First, the hotel entrance is located inside a courtyard that you enter from the main door on the street. You have to push the buzzer on the intercom just inside the iron gate leading into the hotel from the courtyard in order to get to the hotel. The second is that the hot water for the shower may take much longer to kick in than you are used to, but it does work. Our only negative experience was that when we returned from a day of sightseeing, the room service had not closed the door to our room correctly, and the door was wide open when we returned. The problem was somewhat mitigated by the security measures you have to get through to access your private room, but concerning nonetheless.
