Very nice hotel! Weather not so good so did not get to enjoy pool much but it was awesome!
Room I requested was not available when I checked in. They gave me a lesser room and a $50 credit, which only covered the downgrade, nothing for my inconvenience. Valet was overpriced at $43/night. Restaurants were excellent, pool was really nice. Overall not worth the price.
In town for symposium in the George r brown. Very convenient and great service, definitely stay again.
We initially booked a one night stay. We loved the rooftop lazy river and outside bar so much, we decided to extend our stay one more night. After we extended our stay, we went back to the pool. We were very disappponted to be told we had to leave the pool in the afternoon due to the pool deck being used for a private party. We were told we could use the infinity pool. We obliged, and moved all of our belongings, only then to be told the outside service bar would not be open for service. I understand we aren't a large party, but we did feel as if our patronage was not as important. The front desk comped $100 off of our restaurant bill (over $450.00 for four people) mostly because I'm an platinum member, but it would have been nicer to know ahead of time so we could make alternate arrangements. The staff left to handle the complaints did so very graciously. We will stay again in the future, but we will be calling ahead to make sure there are no groups taking a priority over our experience.
