ApartHotel Voramar, Ciutadella de Menorca

The apartment itself was very large and well equipped, though rather plain in decor. The pool area was quite close to the road and not in an attractive garden setting. While the location could not have been closer to the sea, we felt that the exterior of the building could be made so much more attractive with a little effort. A coat of white paint would transform the front, and the back could be landscaped with a few trees and flowers; may be the waste ground next to the car park could be made into a terraced garden from which many people would come to watch the sunset? Breakfast was quite simple, but fine. We didn't have lunch or dinner as only set 3 course meals were available. A menu of tapas and lighter snacks would have suited us better for lunch. The resort is very busy, with many restaurants, bars, shops and apartments. Unfortunately there is only the tiniest beach within walking distance. We were glad to have a car and use this as a base for visiting other western parts of the island.
